Grass Roots Legislative Campaigns
Citizens don't have to wait to pass resolutions impeaching Bush and Cheney. The US House accepts resolutions from legislatures, counties and even towns, as petitions starting impeachment. So, in 2006-7 citizens have passed them. Such grass roots involvement argues heavily for incorporating impeachment in every issues listing by officials who stress integrity in government. Corruption and lawlessness in high places ought not be tolerated by lower level officials, when they have legal means available to put a stop to it, thereby validating sincerity in their own oaths of office.
